Problems with my First Book

The problem with 10 Poems and Amerpsands is that the very undertaking itself is flawed. I try to write a place. A place cannot be written. Like Nabakov says, a writer must put the patient down and start messing with his ribs. This book doesn't send the planets spinning, at least not in part 1. All it does is dress up the school kids in their best outfits.
